UPDATED PHASE III ANTENNAS REACH EVEN HIGHER STANDARDS

Developed for professionals and performance conscious boaters, Shakespeare’s Phase III antennas embody the ultimate in design, construction and performance. With recent updates, the company’s finest series becomes even better.

While Phase III antennas have always used foam to protect the radiators from vibration and moisture, Shakespeare has now enhanced the Phase III series with a custom foam system to further improve the performance of the antennas.

Another new addition is the SO-239 connector. The ferrule, its coupling ring, and the SO-239 connector at the base allow the antennas to be installed quickly and easily without re-routing the existing coax. Phase III’s stainless steel ferrules accommodate a variety of mounting possibilities, including standard 1″ 14 thread mounts, and strapping or clamping to a mast. A 12-sided facet indexes and prevents the antenna from rotating after installation.

For the highest electrical efficiency, performance and longevity, Phase III VHF, cellular, VHF-AIS, SSB and AM/FM antennas have silver-plated elements that actually improve with age. These antennas also feature a stranded, high-quality tinned copper inner conductor that maximizes signal strength.

Shakespeare’s unique low-angle radiation puts a signal where it matters most. For mechanical support, the company’s high-strength fiberglass radomes are unsurpassed in the industry.

The Phase III 6400-R is a 4′ VHF antenna that’s great for hard tops, T-tops and other positions aloft where its compact size can deliver great communications, while the 8′ 6225-R VHF antenna does well with high speeds and winds. Shakespeare’s rugged 6018-R is a 17′ 6″ VHF powerhouse designed for stability in high seas. For long-range HF/SSB communication, the 6390-R is a side-fed antenna that easily takes on all comers.

Prices for the improved Phase III antennas start at $269.95.
